Compression therapy is commonly used to support circulation, manage swelling, and improve comfort in a variety of conditions, including venous insufficiency, lymphedema, and post-surgical recovery.
At Harrisville Pharmacy in Moncton, compression products are provided through our Home Health & Wellness team using a measurement-based, appointment-focused approach.
Our goal is to ensure each individual receives the appropriate level of compression, fit, and product type based on their needs.
Compression stockings are designed to apply graduated pressure to support circulation and help manage leg swelling, including swollen ankles and feet.
We carry a selection of 15–20 mmHg compression socks in-store, available in a range of sizes and styles for everyday use and general circulation support. These are commonly used during travel to help promote circulation during extended periods of sitting.
We carry a limited in-store selection of unisex 20–30 mmHg compression stockings, available in both knee-high and thigh-high options, for situations where compression is needed without delay. These are intended as a practical option when there isn’t time to wait for a special order.
Compression stockings are available in a variety of lengths and styles, including:

These garments are made to measure using a more detailed set of measurements to ensure appropriate fit and compression.
At Harrisville Pharmacy, we can assess whether a custom garment may be appropriate and coordinate ordering through our supplier partners when needed.

Compression fittings are provided through one-on-one appointments with our Home Health & Wellness team. This includes compression stocking fittings based on individual measurements.
Measurements are an important part of ensuring proper fit and effectiveness. For individuals experiencing swelling that increases throughout the day, morning appointments are preferred, as measurements are typically most accurate earlier in the day.
We are happy to accommodate other appointment times when needed.
Appointments are strongly recommended to allow adequate time for assessment, product selection, and ordering.
